 The
Project Encryptor utility has
2 separate functions:
Firstly
it can be used to make an encrypted version of a project.
Secondly it can be used to generate controller keys for
loading the project on to a particular controller.
Here
we have selected just the “DARK” program to
be encrypted. The project should be saved to a different
filename.
When
the project is complete and running the project developer
makes an encrypted copy using the “Project Encryptor”
utility. This program firstly asks for the project password.
The password is known only by the project developer and
should be different for each project.
If
we open the “DARK” program in a text editor
you can see the encrypted program:
The
encrypted project could then be emailed to the machine builder
