Trio’s new CAN-16 IO module, the P319 is an ideal low cost replacement for the P316 CAN-16 IO module.
Both modules provide 16 bit-directional 24V Input/Output channels and both run the long-standing Trio CANIO protocol on CANbus which is supported by all Motion Coordinators with a CANbus port.
The P319 also uses less space on the DIN rail than its older cousin, although it should be noted that the connector layout is different, so some changes to cable lengths may be required when installing the new IO module.
