To demonstrate the flexibility of Motion Coordinator to control
practically ANY SERCOS drive, TRIO showed an MC206 interpolating
moves on SERCOS equipped drives from

We
guess that it is certainly the first (and probably the last
!) time
that drives from these three international manufacturers have
worked together over one SERCOS ring.
The
MC206 Motion Coordinator shown can control up to 8 interpolated
axes over SERCOS. The larger MC224 can control up to 24 SERCOS
drives. A wide variety of drives can be used.
In
addition to those demonstrated the Motion Coordinator has
been used with a wide variety of SERCOS drives including
Kollmorgen/Siedel, Pacific Scientific and Indramat.
